Description

The Pager Receiver from Bellman & Symfon is part of the Visit Smart Home System that helps you to keep tabs on your home. The Bluetooth Pager Receiver is a great alerting device to help people with hearing loss, hard of hearing, and deaf to be informed to stay independent and stay secure, knowing that you won’t miss important notifications. When receiving the signals from Visit transmitters, the Pager Receiver will notify you with different vibrations as well as from the dedicated colored LEDs, you can tell whether someone rings your doorbell or telephone, your baby needs your attention, or there is a risk of fire or carbon monoxide. The Pager Receiver is powered by a single battery so you can easily carry it as you walk around in your home and still get the alerts. The Pager Receiver can also be powered by a rechargeable battery and work with the optional accessory Pager Charger to get it charged without worrying to replace the battery.

It Works

My wife is deaf and I am hearing so I think we have been able to test this product fairly well. We have the pager and charger, the bed shaker, the flasher, and the baby cry transmitter. 
Positives
- It works.  My wife says it's annoying but wakes her up.
- Seems to be decent quality but time will tell.
Negatives
- It's expensive.  It may be a fair price I don't know but it's definitely costly to get all the components.  That being said we are grateful it is even an option. Definately worth it for us.
Additional thoughts
- we have the baby in the same room as us so we are not able to use the flasher right now because it is so bright. This means if you buy their baby cry system you will probably want to buy the pager which I did not realize does not come with the charger. The bed shaker only works with the pager if you have the charger for the pager.
