  • Can this bed shaker be used by deaf people?

    Our products were originally designed to be used by those that are hard of hearing, but it is perfect for use by deaf individuals! The Bellman Vibio portable Bluetooth speaker, with the strong built-in vibrations, will be able to wake anyone. Please contact us for more information about how you can use our products in your everyday life. 

  • Will this be able to alert you to phone calls and texts?

    Yes you can go into your Vibio bed shaker settings and turn on notifications for your phone calls and texts! 

  • Is this portable bed shaker TSA / travel-friendly?

    You always need to check specific regulations before traveling to be safe and ensure no policies have changed recently, but you should have no more trouble traveling with this than you would any headphone, music player, or another small electronic device. The compact size and travel case make it so easy to pack up and go!

  • Can you adjust the vibration length? Is the vibration strength adjustable?

    You can not adjust how long the actual alarm tone or vibration is on the portable alarm, but you can adjust the intervals between snooze cycles with ease. The Vibio app will let you choose from 3 different vibration settings – soft, medium, and strong. You can test them all out and choose the one that you feel will work best for you. 

  • Do you have to have the phone in the room to operate the alarm, or is it safe to keep your phone outside of the room?

    Once you have set up all of your alarms how you like them, the Vibio portable bed shaker will remember all settings and be able to operate fully without the phone nearby. Only when you want to change an existing alarm will you need to have your phone near the portable vibrating alarm clock. 

  • Does the device only use batteries, or can it be connected to a charger?

    The Bellman Vibio Portable Bluetooth Bed Shaker comes with a charger included! The total charging time is about 1.5 hours while the resulting total operating time is up to 10 full days. It will operate plugged in OR off of battery power. You will notice red blinking LEDs when low on battery.

Liked it until it stoped working.

After 4.5 months it stopped working. My alarm would be set and the Vibio acknowledged it by buzzing twice, but it never goes off. Very disappointing especially due to the high cost.

This device does shake but when you reach rem sleep; it doesn't make enough activity to wake you up. Going to look into home automation lights.

Warranty work after 3 months

The alarm is pretty good when it’s 100% operable. I was so excited to have this alarm as I was able to wake up under my own power. Unfortunately I have to say the alarm loses its efficacy the day you get it and eventually will not wake you even if you have it surgically attached to your face. Every feature on my alarm works in the correct manner but the power of the vibration had dropped so low it’s unrecognizable. It is a defective product. Though this next comment isn’t a review of the product itself but rather the warranty work performed. My alarm has been in Bellman & Symfons custody for the warranty work 1/3 of the time I’ve owned the product. I can’t afford to have multiple of these alarms to have as a backup to live life. I would suggest if you buy this product go ahead and purchase another brand as a backup
